It's been a while since I've posted something here,mostly because we are at capacity, and, well, I hate for people to contact me and then have to tell them we aren't accepting new students. But I thought this was truly worth posting. The Little Piano House has currently been transformed into The Little Marimba House. In my other life, I direct a youth marimba ensemble. They will be playing at the Wyandotte Art Fair on Saturday, July 14th at 11:00am in front of the DCA Building (81 Chestnut). So, we're doing some prep work in the Little House. Yes, there are piano lessons this week. We just have added marimba rehearsals to the schedule.

No piano lessons to day in the Little House. Wyandotte has declared a snow emergency and we don't want parents ticketed or towed for parking in the street. Stay home and stay warm. We'll see everyone next week.

We are currently waiting for two new students to confirm their time slot. After that, we will not be able to accept new students as we will be at full capacity. I will need to place those interested in piano study on a waiting list. Who knew Wyandotte and Downriver loved piano that much?!?!?!!

Here are a few of the recent notes on the wall, earned by pieces well played. . .as we will be hosting Piano Palooza July 13-15, these notes won't be so visible. The lessons room will be filled with vintage books. And so, these notes will be "hiding" behind book shelves for a few days. But rest assured, when you return for lessons your notes will still be there!!!
