Tomorrow is a big day for EYHS DECA as we host our 5th Annual Eastern York High School DECA Scramble at Heritage Hills Golf Resort. This event would not be possible if not for our generous community sponsors. This morning, we would like to recognize the groups who are responsible for the awesome swag each golfer will receive when they arrive:

Securewire Technologies LLC - Golf Towels
Austin H Eberly Funeral Home - Divot Tool
AMEREX American Exteriors - Golf Shirts
Druck Builders LLC - Can Koozies

Thank you again for supporting EYHS DECA and the future business leaders of York County. We cannot wait to see everyone on the course tomorrow!

Two nights, two causes, and zero dishes for you to wash.

We’ve got back-to-back restaurant fundraisers this week, and all you have to do is eat. Honestly, this might be the easiest way you’ll ever help.

Tuesday, 10/13: Panera Bread (East York) for Pink Knights
Grab a bowl of soup and raise some dough for breast cancer awareness. 25% of every order goes to Pink Power.

Wednesday, 10/14: Texas Roadhouse (East York) for EYHS DECA
Come for the rolls and stay for the cinnamon butter. Your dinner helps cover our chapter fees, competition registration, and travel costs, so our students can show the rest of the state what Eastern York can do. Can’t make it for dinner? Gift card purchases count too, which means you can get a jump on holiday shopping!

Yes, that’s two dinners out in a row. Yes, you can tell your family it’s for a good cause. We’ll back you up.

IMPORTANT: Show the flyer in this post on your phone when you order so we get credit.

Thanks for supporting our students and our community. We’ll see you Tuesday, and probably again on Wednesday.

Our back to school Chipotle fundraiser was intended to be a celebration of the start of a new school year, but after Thursday’s storms, the funds raised from this event will mean so much more to our EYHS DECA family!

Mother Nature decided to redecorate our classroom this afternoon. 🌪️ The ceiling didn’t make it, but DECA is still alive and well at EYHS. Grateful everyone is safe.

🍑🌆 ICDC 2026 — Atlanta 🌆🍑

13 members. One unforgettable week. Endless memories.

ICDC in Atlanta was the perfect way to close out our DECA year! Full of early mornings, big moments, and everything in between. From competing at the international level to growing closer as a chapter, this trip was about more than competition… it was about showing up, pushing ourselves, and making the most of every opportunity.

Here’s a glimpse into our week:

Saturday
Travel day, check-in at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, picking up our swag, exploring the city, and kicking things off with the Grand Opening Session.

Sunday
Academy sessions begin, competitors take on their event presentations, and the night wraps up with the DECA Block Party.

Monday
Another full day of academies and competitions, plus DECA Night at Six Flags. (easily one of the highlights) 🎢

Tuesday
Achievement Awards in the morning, Georgia Aquarium in the afternoon, and the Grand Awards Session to celebrate all our hard work.

Wednesday
Heading home with memories we won’t forget!

From academies and presentations to late nights, laughs, and representing our chapter on the international level — this week truly showed what DECA is all about.

Atlanta, you were unforgettable. 💙

This group has given everything to EYHS DECA. State champions. ICDC qualifiers. Gold Level SBE. A standard that will not be easy to follow.

But we're not done yet. One last run — ICDC in Atlanta this weekend. Let's finish strong. 🔷💛
