2026-27 President's Welcome Message: My name is Sabrine Narvasa, and I am honored to serve as the President of Wrightstown FBLA for the current school year. I have been a member since we started our middle school chapter and am proudly the first member to serve as an officer for four years! Through FBLA, I have grown both personally and professionally through the many opportunities this organization has provided. From competing in events to serving my community, each experience has strengthened my leadership, communication, and business skills. FBLA has shaped me into a more confident leader and better prepared me for my future.

This year, we look forward to continuing our tradition of student growth and achievement while welcoming both returning and new members. As one of the nation’s largest student organizations, FBLA prepares students for future careers by developing leadership and workplace skills through community service projects, competitions, and in-person experiences. Boasting more than 100 members, FBLA is one of the largest clubs at our school and provides opportunities for every student to get involved. Members can choose from more than 80 competitive events, including tests, presentations, and interviews. Students also have an opportunity to compete at the Region III Leadership Conference held in February. Our chapter has proudly won Regionals for 17 consecutive years and recently earned the State Championship in the Medium Chapter Division. Last year, 49 members advanced to State, and 10 qualified for the National Leadership Conference. We also had one middle school member advance to nationals!

Beyond competition, FBLA offers countless opportunities to develop leadership skills, serve our community, and build lasting connections. Members enjoy activities such as our NCAA March Madness Bracket Challenge, our used eyeglasses drive, writing cards for local senior citizens, and organizing our annual Senior Citizen Christmas Party! We also celebrate FBLA Week with themed days and prizes that recognize our organization and encourage school involvement. Whether your goal is to prepare for a future career, compete, serve your community, or meet new people, there is a place for you in FBLA.

Wrightstown Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) recognized Tami & Rod Just of Just Stop In Bar & Grill as its 2025-26 Friend of Wrightstown FBLA. Just Stop In Bar & Grill was chosen because of its generous support of Wrightstown FBLA’s Annual Senior Citizens/Grandparents Christmas Party, which in turn frees up club funds to pay for its members to compete at FBLA Nationals. Congratulations to Mr. Haese's Advanced Microsoft Office Specialist students that achieved Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification in Excel. The vast majority of these students have MOS Certification now in Word, PowerPoint, & Excel. MOS Certification is widely recognized and demonstrates that these students have the skills needed to get the most out of the particular Microsoft Office program they achieved certification in. These students will have an item that they can add to their resume and get a leg up on their peers considering Microsoft Office is much more prevalent in secondary school and the real world than Google Documents.

Wrightstown FBLA partnered with the Way-Morr Lions club to hold its annual used eyeglass drive. 111 pairs of glasses and 6 hearing aids were collected. These glasses will go to the Wisconsin Lions Foundation’s (WLF) Eyeglass Recycling Center is located in Rosholt, Wisconsin. It is one of 19 Lions International Certified Eyeglass Recycling Centers in the world. On average 800,000 pairs of glasses are received here annually from the Lions of Michigan, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Iowa and Illinois. When glasses are received, they are sorted and checked over to determine their condition. About 35% are disposed due to condition of the glasses. However, if a broken frame has gold or precious metal, volunteer Lions will strip it and save it to be smelted to offset the cost of running the program. Glasses that are in good condition, will be cleaned and packed into donated dairy crates. These crates are shipped to correctional facilities throughout Wisconsin where inmates from one federal and two state correctional facilities assist in the recycling process. They wash, read the prescriptions with a Lensometer and individually package the glasses into a plastic bag with the prescription written on them. Glasses are then packaged 50 pairs to a box according to prescription and gender. Through medical missions and the outreach of various groups, Lions eyeglass recycling centers throughout the world distribute eyeglasses to over 49 developing countries.

Wrightstown FBLA will continue to collect eyeglasses and hearing aids throughout the year if you have additional pairs you would like to recycle. Collection bins are located at Dick’s Family Foods, Unison Credit Union, Wrightstown Branch of the Brown County Library, Greenleaf Bank, and at the high school in the Business Education Department.
