Nine years in business… and in some ways, I feel like I’m just getting started.
This November marks 9 years of BEACTIVE Health—and I’m stepping into a new chapter with an expanded focus on integrative nutrition, women’s health, sports performance, and healthy aging, both in person and online.
For most of those nine years, BEACTIVE has grown alongside a very full life.
I’ve been a mom first. I’ve worked multiple part-time roles. I’ve taught thousands of classes, trained clients, gone back to school, completed a second master’s degree in Nutrition Science & Integrative Health, became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and conducted a pilot research study exploring Mediterranean nutrition and exercise in the menopause transition.
And somewhere along the way, my own season changed too.
My kids are now in middle school. I’m navigating midlife myself. And for the first time, I have the space to ask:
What happens if I truly give this business the time and energy I’ve always wanted to give it?
That question is exciting.
And, if I’m being transparent, a little nerve-racking.
But I’m ready.
My private practice is evolving into BEACTIVE Health & Integrative Nutrition, with a stronger focus on the areas where my education, experience, research, and passion have continued to intersect:
• Women’s health, midlife & the menopause transition
• Sports nutrition & performance
• Strength, movement & healthy aging
• Integrative nutrition
• In-person coaching and nutrition services
• Online programs, education & workouts
But the heart of this next chapter isn’t really about my credentials, degrees, or years of experience.
It’s about the person sitting across from me.
The woman who knows her body is changing but doesn’t know what to do next.
The athlete trying to fuel and train for the next level.
The person who is tired of chasing quick fixes and wants to understand what their body actually needs.
Over the years, I’ve learned that true health rarely has an “easy button.”
It requires work.
It requires consistency.
It requires curiosity.
And sometimes, it requires someone in your corner who can help you connect the dots.
I believe my combination of education, coaching experience, research, intuition, and my own personal and spiritual growth allows me to approach each client as an individual—not simply as a diagnosis, a meal plan, a workout, or a number on a scale.
Because ultimately, I want to spend less time talking about how we manage disease after it develops—and more time helping people build the strength, nourishment, resilience, and habits that support health along the way.
And because 9 years deserves a celebration… November is going to be a fun month. 🎉
Starting in November, I’ll be sharing 9 DAYS of special offerings to celebrate 9 YEARS of BEACTIVE.
One date you can already put on your calendar:
📅 November 19 — NUTRITION DAY
I’m opening my schedule for 30-minute, one-on-one nutrition consultations, available in person or online, for a special anniversary price of $69.
These consultations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and booking will open on October 19.
This is an opportunity to bring your questions, your goals, your frustrations, or simply that feeling of “I know I need to make some changes, but I’m not sure where to start.”
Thirty minutes. One-on-one. A chance to connect the dots and determine some practical next steps for you.
More of my 9 Days of 9 Years offerings will be announced as November gets closer.
So here’s to nine years of BEACTIVE—and Year One of giving this vision my full attention.
I’m excited. I’m nervous. I’m ready.
And I cannot wait to see where this next chapter takes BEACTIVE—and, more importantly, the people I have the privilege of working with.
Here’s to the next nine. 💪
