“I am deeply committed to Wright City Schools and the Wright City community. My dedication comes from a genuine passion, free from personal or political agendas. My primary focus will always be on what is best for our students—emphasizing local control, active parent involvement, and strong community support. The daily operations of the district should be entrusted to our highly trained and dedicated staff, who use evidence-based methods to ensure that all students are well-prepared for every stage of their educational journey.”

I feel incredibly grateful that, for four generations, my family has had the opportunity to attend school in the Wright City district. That’s why it’s so important to me that every child receives the best education possible—while also being mindful that we are using taxpayers' hard-earned money to make it happen."

"I strongly believe in the value of our children. Each one is a gift, and it is our privilege and responsibility to invest in their lives, support their growth, and equip them for success. As a parent, I recognize the importance of having parental representation on the board of education. Parents know their children best—they understand their daily experiences and perspectives—so it is essential that those voices be reflected in school board decisions.

I love our Wright City schools and staff; our schools have been a positive part of my own family's journey. The opportunity to serve our students, families, and teachers in a meaningful way motivates me. My hope is that every child and family has a wonderful and enriching experience in our schools."

"My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and effective learning environment where every child has the tools and opportunities to thrive. This means fostering a school culture where students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential. It also means ensuring access to high-quality education, dedicated teachers, and the resources necessary to help each student succeed—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Beyond the classroom, I want to make sure that every child, no matter their background or circumstances, has the opportunity to explore their passions, develop their talents, and work toward achieving their dreams. Whether their aspirations lie in college, a skilled trade, the workforce, or another path, our role is to provide the guidance, support, and foundation they need to get there."

Kyle Lewis shares his reason behind serving on the Board of Education.

"Growing up, I was taught the importance of service in one's community. This value took root during my time in 4-H throughout grade school and expanded through various organizations I was involved with in high school at Wright City. After graduating, I came to truly appreciate how my hometown and education prepared me for life, and my commitment to service continued throughout my collegiate years.

When I moved back home in 2021, I wanted to give back to the district that had given so much to me. That desire ultimately led me to run for the school board in 2023. My hope is that, as a board and as a district, we continue to grow in ways that enable every student, every day to be successful. I also want each student to have the opportunity to discover their own "why" during their time with us in Wright City, just as I was able to.”
