(WEST) is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization responsible for raising private capital to fund innovative, educational programs for the Wrentham Elementary Schools. Founded in 2007 by parents and community members, our foundation works to support vital curriculum enrichment programs that fall outside the school budget--WEST has funded nearly $380,000 in educational grants since 2007!

This is what hands-on learning looks like thanks to WEST-funded grants. 🧲

Last school year, Grade 3 students took part in the Discovery Museum’s Force & Magnetism traveling workshop — an interactive STEM experience designed to extend their physical science learning.

Students explored forces, magnets, attraction and repelling, electromagnets, and magnetic fields through hands-on experiments and activities they could actually see, test, and build.

These are the kinds of classroom experiences WEST is proud to support: programs that make learning more interactive, memorable, and engaging for students across Wrentham Public Schools. 💚💛

This is what WEST grants look like in action.🦉

Last spring, Grade 5 students got an up-close look at live owls through Eyes on Owls — a favorite every year! This WEST-funded enrichment program brings science off the page and into the room, helping students learn about birds, physical adaptations, animal behavior, food webs, and predator-prey relationships.

Programs like this are made possible through the generosity of our WEST supporters, sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Thank you for helping us bring meaningful enrichment opportunities to students across Wrentham Public Schools. 💚💛

🍎If you get your order in by Friday, your child can deliver it during Staff Appreciation week. All orders after Friday, May 1st will be fulfilled the following week and can be given to staff by the end of the year.

🌎 Happy Earth Day!

🤝 We were so excited when our new sponsor, Wrentham Village Premium Outlets offered to help at the schools for Earth Day. On this chilly day, their team came over to the Wrentham schools to do some clean up and add some new life. More to come on this!

🌳 Landscape America also worked with them to donate a tree for the front of Delaney that will be such a great addition as it starts to warm up so here’s a sneak peek while school’s out.

⭐️ Big thank you to the Wrentham Outlets team, Landscape America, as well as WPS Facilities Manager Mr. Gillespie and Superintendent Dr. Cameron for making it all come together for Wrentham Public Schools.
