Sometimes it takes seeing our community through the eyes of a visitor to truly appreciate what makes Wray so special!

Darla’s words are a beautiful reminder that the little things leave a lasting impression. We invite you to read her article by clicking the link below. We think you’ll be reminded why we’re so proud to call Wray home.

At the WRAC, we’re proud to be part of a community that lives these values everyday.

🌟August Member of the Month: Shirly Gonzalez!🌟

Congratulations to Shirly Gonzalez, our August Member of the Month! Shirly has been a WRAC member since 2024. Staff nominated her as Member of the Month for her commitment to her health. Shirly is always kind and has a big smile on her face! You'll usually find her in the weight room, at the abs station, or doing cardio.

Here's what Shirly had to say about her fitness journey:

"Going to the gym at the WRAC is one of my favorite things in my day. I am trying to build muscle and strength. Also, I want to be a healthy person. It's not just for my body, but also for my mental health. Going to the gym for me means I am dedicating time and love to myself."

Her advice to others? "Never quit, have in mind why you started. Someday you will be tired but love yourself and be disciplined. Keep going."

Congrats, Shirly!🎉

What a day on the river, and what a community behind it!

To our Banner Sponsors, thank you for lifting this event high and proud. To all businesses and individuals who donated prizes, your generosity added excitement and joy to every moment. To our incredible volunteers who showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and made the magic happen, we appreciate you more than you know.

To every person who purchased duck tickets, you kept the race afloat in the most literal way. To our board and staff, your dedication, creativity, and teamwork continue to set the pace for everything we do.

From the first duck sold to the last duck crossing the finish line… this event was powered by YOU!!! Thank you for helping us make a splash in our community. Much love.💗
