The Kent County Sheriff’s Office invites you and your family to Worton Park on Tuesday, August 4th, for National Night Out Against Crime!
Come out for a fantastic evening of family fun, community building, and great conversation. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your local law enforcement officials, chat with neighbors, and strengthen our community bond. There will be activities, displays, and fun for all ages!

Join the Kent County High School Counseling Department and the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT) for an evening focused on helping students and families navigate the financial aid process and learn about options for funding college and trade school.

Kent County High School will hold orientation for fall sports at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5 in the auditorium. Orientation is for new and returning athletes and their parents. Attendance is strongly encouraged. This is an ideal time to meet the coaches and to find out about training requirements, practice schedules and expectations for the season. Practices for the high school's fall athletic teams begin Wednesday, Aug. 12. Student athletes are reminded that they cannot practice or participate until they have a completed current physical on file at school.

Chesapeake College Fall Dual Enrollment classes begin on Monday, August 24 --before KCHS begins the school year. Please review the email and complete all required steps before classes start to ensure you're ready for a successful semester.
