Guitar Technique Tip of the Month:

Do you struggle with left hand fatigue or an inability to stretch your fingers for big intervals and sections of the fretboard with wider frets towards the headstock. One thing you might be over looking is your thumb position....

Thumb position allows you to roll up on your finger tips making it easier to play notes with minimum amount of movement away from the fretboard. The finger tips are going to make sure you play the note and are not muting your ability to play the note like the pads of your finger tips.

The proper support of your thumb behind your middle finger allows you to extend your index finger back and your ring and pinkie finger forward... this becomes critical when it comes to adding chord extensions.
