Creative Play Center A place where children grow, interact, explore, investigate and create.

Creative Play Center (CPC) of the Worthington United Methodist Church is a full-time early childhood program, providing year-round, quality care and education for infants through kindergarten, with programming for school-age children during the summer months. Our work with children is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early care and education. Our teaching staff is dedicated to professio

nal development, as well as furthering and challenging our own thinking. Together, we traverse the pathway of deepening our understanding and the integration of the tenets of the Reggio philosophy into our work with children and families, our classrooms and our program as a whole.

We hope to see as many parents as possible this evening. Program Night will be from 6:30-7:30 pm.

To Our CPC Families and Staff,

Happy New Year!

This year, like most, has come with ups and downs.
We have encountered hard hitting illnesses, children testing boundaries and rules, a few changes in personnel, families welcoming beautiful additions to their growing families, and some of us have experienced loss.

I (Merritt) have been in early childhood for 20 years. I can confidently say, Creative Play Center is special. The families we serve, the staff we hire, and the endless energy given is the very foundation of our wonderful community.

We hope the winter break was enjoyed by all. We look forward to seeing everyone who will be returning tomorrow.

That is what our front hallway bulletin board says.
Our families and staff went above and beyond participating in our 2nd annual toy drive! We collected over 35 toys.

All donations were given to Firefighters 4 Kids non-profit organization. Shout out to our local Worthington Fire Department, Station 101 for helping us unload!

If you or your family missed our deadline, you're still able to drop off donations at any Franklin County Fire Department through Christmas Day.

Where: This event will be at Columbus Metropolitan Library located at 96 South Grant Avenue Columbus, OH 43215
When: 11:30 am, though story time will be at 11:00 am
Admission is free but a book donation is appreciated, which will be provided to Nationwide Children's Hospital
