Students can run or walk with friends during lunch recess on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays while working toward goals and earning shoe tokens along the way.

Before the school year wrapped up, Brookside students had the chance to hear from author and illustrator Rafael Rosado, co-creator of the Giants Beware! series! Students enjoyed learning about the creative process behind storytelling and illustration and what it’s like to bring characters and ideas to life.

Thank you to Rafael for visiting our school and inspiring our students. And a big thank you to the families, volunteers, and supporters who contribute to the PTA throughout the year. Your generosity helps make experiences like this possible!

We’re so proud of our Brookside artists who participated in this year’s Reflections Art Program! 🎉

Congratulations to Eliana Davis for earning a 3rd Place Award of Merit in Intermediate Film Production and to Guitton Kissling for receiving a 1st Honorable Mention in Intermediate Photography at the state level.

You can also view student artwork that advanced to the district level at the Reflections showcase at Barrel & Bloom Coffee Shop through the week. 💙
