Before you sign anything, ask one question: who benefits when the truth gets buried?

The facts about Boundless are public. The opposition is betting you won’t check.

Ask yourself:

• Who punches down on recent grads, service workers, and empty nesters looking for a place to live?
• Who needs you not to read the actual plan?
• Who’s louder, the people with facts, or the people with fear?

Do the one thing they’re hoping you won’t. Educate yourself. Read the resource. Decide for yourself.

Then ask: what kind of neighbor do I want to be?

Worthington just took a real step forward: City Council unanimously approved 248 new housing units this week.

That means more homes for young adults who grew up here and want to come back, retirees looking to downsize without leaving town, and new neighbors who've been hoping to move to Worthington.

Not everyone agreed on this one, and that's okay. Growth always comes with mixed feelings, especially for the neighbors closest to it. Council heard those concerns. But their job isn't just to reflect one neighborhood's view, it's to weigh what's best for the whole city, today and down the road.

That's what happened here. Input was heard. A decision was made. Worthington keeps moving forward.

What We Elect City Council to Do

Crawford Hoying, the team behind Dublin's Bridge Park, took the first formal step this week toward reimagining 17.6 acres along West Wilson Bridge Road. The Municipal Planning Committee got its first look at a proposal that would transform three aging office buildings into a walkable mix of homes, shops, senior living, and hotel space.

What's on the table:
- 250+ multifamily units, 8 townhomes, 182 condos
- 150 senior living units
- 290 hotel rooms
- 211,000 sq ft of office space + 134,600 sq ft of retail

This corridor has long been identified as one of Worthington's best opportunities for growth , and this proposal is an early look at what that future could hold. As the city's David McCorkle put it, "we're early in the process, but the city is looking forward to working with the Crawford Hoying team to help shape this significant redevelopment opportunity to meet the community's needs."
Nothing was voted on Thursday, and there's more community input ahead. We'll keep you posted as this moves forward.

The project would bring multifamily units, townhomes, condominiums, senior living, hotel space, office and retail to a corridor identified as a key focus area for economic growth.

The Boundless/Elford proposal goes before the Municipal Planning Commission tonight and Worthington needs supporters in the room.

If you have thoughts about how Worthington is governed, now is the time to share them.

The Charter Review Commission is a citizen body appointed to periodically examine Worthington's City Charter, the foundational document that defines how our local government is structured and how decisions are made. The Commission has been reviewing the Charter and has forwarded recommendations for public consideration.

The public comment period is open now, and the deadline to submit written or electronic comments is Monday, June 22, 2026.

This is a straightforward opportunity to be part of an important civic process. We encourage every Worthington resident to take a few minutes to review the Commission's recommendations and share their perspective.

The role of the Commission is to thoroughly review the provisions of the Charter and recommend amendments, as may be necessary or appropriate, to City Council. City Council will then determine which, if any, of the recommended amendments will be placed on the ballot. Worthington residents will vote....

Crawford Hoying, the Dublin-based developer behind the wildly successful Bridge Park is proposing a major mixed-use redevelopment on 17 acres along the West Wilson Bridge Road Corridor. Hotel, office, commercial, and residential space, with a vision that leans into Worthington's greatest natural asset: the Olentangy Trail.

This is exactly how a landlocked community grows smart, by transforming underutilized properties into vibrant, economically productive spaces.

The Worthington Municipal Planning Commission takes its first look on June 25. We're encouraged by what we see.

The 17-acre project will include hotel, office, commercial and residential space.

As a good partner to the city, Elford has decided to reschedule their MPC presentation in order to continue their due diligence and further refine the proposal. Their intent is to return with as much clarity and supporting information as possible, and to thoughtfully address the questions and feedback raised by both city officials and residents throughout the process.

This reflects exactly the kind of thoughtful, community-minded approach we want to see from development partners in Worthington. We remain supportive of this project and look forward to sharing updates as they move toward resubmission.
