Friends. Teachers. Learning. Recess. And, naturally… Halloween is right around the corner. 🎃😂

No scripts. No rehearsals. Just genuine answers, big personalities, and a little glimpse into what makes being back at Harrisburg Academy so special — through the eyes of some of our youngest learners.

Week one is in the books — literally! 📖

This morning, we continued a longstanding Harrisburg Academy tradition with our annual Matriculation Ceremony, officially welcoming our students entering Middle School and Upper School, along with all students who are new to the Academy this year.

Each student added their signature to their class year, marking their place in Harrisburg Academy history and the beginning of a new chapter in their HA journey.

🛶 A beautiful day on the water for our Upper School Spartans!

As our Middle and Upper School students get ready for their annual camping trips next week, our Upper School students got an early taste of the outdoor adventures ahead with their annual canoe trip this week!

It was a perfect opportunity to get outside, strengthen friendships, build community, and enjoy plenty of fun and laughter together. 💙💛

Next up: ropes courses, canoeing, archery, team-building, and even more memories in the making. We can’t wait to see where next week’s adventures take our Spartans! 🏕️

Welcome back, Spartans! 💙💛

Our Back-to-School Picnic was a BLAST! 🎉 We welcomed our Spartan families back to campus with food trucks, slime, a bounce house, carnival games, a petting zoo… and, of course, the chance to dunk some of our favorite faculty and staff! 💦😂

There was plenty of sunshine, even more fun, and so many familiar faces. We loved having the chance to reconnect, catch up, and kick off another great year together.

And now… it’s officially time. 📚✨ Back to school TOMORROW!

🌿 ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES, SPARTANS! 💙💛

This Saturday, August 15, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM, Harrisburg Academy families, faculty, staff, and friends are invited to join us for HA Campus Cleanup!

Grab your gardening gloves, rakes, leaf blowers, and a little Spartan spirit as we work together to spruce up our campus and make the outside of our school just as warm and welcoming as the inside! 🌱✨

Whether you can stay for all three hours or just stop by to lend a hand, we’d love to have you. Many hands make light work — and there’s no better way to get our campus ready to welcome our Spartans back for a brand-new school year!
