For the past 23 years Lambda Chi Alpha - Pi Zeta, partnered with The Worcester County Sheriff's Office and Friendly House of Worcester, has hosted the largest food drive in Worcester County. This partnership has raised over 2.3 million pounds of food for families who need it most. Every year, we strive to collect more and more food to continue to maintain the needs of our community. Last year we raised just below 200,000 lbs of food but this year we have a goal of raising 250,000 lbs of food. The need for your help is greater than ever as we look to continue to ensure that families across the county have meals to get them through this holiday season.
A donation of just one dollar translates to 15 pounds of food for those in need. Checks can be made out to “Friendly House Worcester” and given to Alex Czuchra. Donations are tax deductible. Additionally, donations of any non-perishable food items are also appreciated. Donations can be mailed to 30 Dean St, Worcester MA, 01609, or you can donate through this link:

Hi Everyone, We are selling raffle tickets for Food Drive! Proceeds go directly to the Worcester Friendly House to feed families in need! 3 for $5 or 10 for $10. After a week off, the Brother of the Week series is back in action with Elio Daci! Elio is a Junior studying Aerospace Engineering. He serves on the executive board for club sailing, is a tour guide on campus, plays water polo and is one of the founders of the scuba club! Elio enjoys watching hockey and football and his favorite movie is Finding Nemo. He is also Bilingual, speaking English and Albanian! With a $1000 to spend, Elio would take a trip to a tropical island, and if he could live anywhere he would live in New Zealand or Australia. This year, Elio is most excited for his IQP in Australia where he plans on scuba diving in the great barrier reef! Elio aspires to one day make a broad positive impact on something much bigger than himself. We're lucky to have you as a Brother Elio!

Spencer Austin is the Brother of the Week! Spencer is a Junior studying mechanical engineering. He is a resident advisor, member of club lacrosse and vice president of the ski and snowboard club! Spencer's favorite movie is Never Back Down and he has some serious gaming skills on SSX Tricky. This year, he is most looking forward to going away to New Zealand on IQP. Spencer also says he would live in Hawaii if he could live anywhere in the world and would buy parts for his Jeep if he had $1000 to spend right now. Someday, he hopes to develop technology to make motorcycles safer. He hopes this technology might someday even be required on motorcycles by law. Huge shout out to Spencer for all the help building the watermelon bash catapult we used this morning!!

Aaron Pepin is our Brother of the Week! Aaron is a senior studying mechanical engineering and is the membership development chair of Engineers without Borders as well as the founder of Grier Strong. His favorite movie is Interstellar, favorite band is Coldplay and favorite sport to watch is football. Aaron says he would take a trip to California if he had $1000 to spend right now. He has traveled to Guatemala with EWB and traveled to Venice, Italy on IQP last year. This year, he is most looking forward to his MQP in Israel. After he graduates, he hopes to get a job where he can continue to travel and volunteer around the world. Aaron has had a huge impact on our chapter and on all of campus and we know he will continue to do so this year!
