The U.S. Administration now requires schools to not consider race in disciplinary proceedings and policies. This directly negatively impacts US students by enforcing the school-to-prison pipeline, preventing students from optimal learning, and reinforcing unjust treatment in discipline cases. All youth deserve equitable treatment in their education.

WEC's mission is to promote just and fair school experiences for all students in Worcester and the state of MA. Join us for the State of Education on September 30th to learn more about school funding, student needs and how to advocate for positive school experiences for all.
