WPI Marching and Pep Band

The WPI Marching and Pep Band is an entirely student run organization which performs at football and basketball games during the academic year.

If you have any questions or concerns, please direct them to [email protected]. The band is a completely student-run organization and performs at all home WPI football and basketball games, some away games.The band welcomes members of all musical ability- Don’t be discouraged if you’ve never played or marched before, we can help you learn! We also have a color guard which is open to anyone who is willing to learn to spin. The Pep Band is a spirited bunch that has much to offer its members, including friendship, pizza, movie nights, parties, and most importantly, good music!

Today was our first ever Basketball Pepfun! Thank you to everyone who came and played, it was so much fun!

Here is the final ranking:
1st place - Team BALL (trumpets)
2nd place - Team Alto Horford (alto saxophones)
3rd place - Team Low BrassketBALL (low brass)
4th place - Team Ballophones (mellophones)
5th place - Team Nuthin’ but flutes and clari*NET*s

Thank you to our Assistant DM Mya and our trumpet section leader Spencer for refereeing. And a special thank you to Leila and Kayla from the women’s basketball team for coming out and not only teaching everyone the basics but also helping to ref!

After a long drum major election last night, we are happy to announce our new drum majors for the next season! We have Logan Kippnick as our head drum major! Emre Danabasoglu and Mya Chrzanowski will be the assistant drum majors!

Thank you to our senior drum majors Jessie Hart and Kerstin Andrews! We will miss your leadership so much next year, but we can’t wait to see what you do next!

While we are sad about the end of the football season, we are so excited for the basketball season!!! 🏀🏀🏀 Here are all the games that we will be at! We love being there to cheer on our incredible basketball teams!

Had a great time at our last home football game!!! 🏈So glad we could be there to cheer for our Engineers!

Thank you to all of our incredible seniors who put in so much effort into making the show into what it was. We are going to miss you all so much, but at least we still have stands season!
