Health and wellness training for staff is essential in creating a safe, positive, and productive learning environment. Providing teachers and staff with regular training on healthy habits, stress management, nutrition, safety practices, and overall wellness helps them maintain both their physical and mental well-being. Healthy teachers are better able to support children, remain energetic throughout the day, and model positive behaviors for students. Prioritizing staff wellness also reduces burnout, improves morale, and strengthens the overall quality of care and education within the program.
Thank you Jasmin Rivas for your guidance and support during this training.

This week, the children participated in a hands-on planting activity where they explored how plants grow and what they need to survive. In this picture, the child is proudly showing her growing seedlings after caring for them daily by watering and observing changes over time.
Through this experience, the children learned about the plant life cycle, responsibility, and patience as they watched the tiny sprouts begin to grow. They used their observation skills to notice changes in color, size, and shape of the plants each day.
This activity also supported fine motor development as the children scooped soil, planted seeds, and carefully watered their plants. The experience encouraged curiosity, language development, and early science concepts while helping children build confidence and pride in their work.
The children were excited to care for their plants and discuss what plants need to grow: sunlight, water, soil, and love! 🌱

Learning and development thrive in environments where curiosity is encouraged and opportunities for exploration are abundant. When children are given the freedom to explore new ideas and experiences, they build confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Exposure to different activities, people, and perspectives plays a key role in shaping their growth, helping them develop both academically and socially. It is through these moments of discovery that learning becomes meaningful and lasting.
Today’s visit from Animal Craze was a perfect example of how powerful hands-on experiences can be. The excitement and energy throughout the school were undeniable as students engaged with the animals up close. This kind of exposure not only sparked curiosity but also helped children develop empathy, respect for living things, and a greater appreciation for nature. Experiences like these go beyond the classroom, creating lasting memories while supporting meaningful learning and development in a fun and engaging way.
