I highly recommend this course! Lisa is a fantastic educator and makes learning things fun, educational and truly worth your time!

A different way to work a tight muscle without working deep: work the artery or nerve running through it instead. Muscle tone changes. Range of motion opens up. You'll feel less strain on your hands over a full day of sessions. 𝘚𝘰 much easier on the animal.

We are at it again! For our fall classes we need a barn that will allow our students 3 days of study (a Fri-Sat-Sun)- What we need - access to an indoor, as we have saddle fitting and gait analysis classes upcoming, room to hold a short lecture (in the indoor is fine) for 6+ people, access to a bathroom and of course horses! We need someone willing to ride in new and different saddles for our fitter. A minimum of 4 to 6 horses - sometimes they don't like massage and we honor that. The facility needs to be within 30 minutes of South of Worcester, MA. If you are interested PM us!

We finished up weekend 3 of this years hands on classes. To say that it was a wonderful experience is to not do it justice. Since this is our first cohort it has been a joy to discover new ways of presenting information to students. The collaborative efforts of students and teachers is making our program so much better than we ever thought possible.

We are in the middle of the Introduction to Equine Acupressure. Such great information and lovely horses.

There is a life-size horse pelvis in a box in my living room and it’s mocking me.

I desperately want to open it.

However, at the moment it is a closed box if I open it. I have to inspect the pelvis, admire the pelvis, find a home for the pelvis, dispose of the packaging, and somehow resist reorganizing my entire office around the pelvis.

So for now, the Pelvis of Temptation remains sealed in its cardboard fortress, whispering:

“You teach equine anatomy. A quick peek couldn’t hurt…”

I remain strong.

A quick reminder to save the date — our Intro to Equine Acupressure Clinic is coming up on June 14.

I’ll be cohosting this hands-on introductory clinic with Linda Crabtree of Circle of Peace. We’ll be covering foundational acupressure concepts, practical point work, and how to observe and respond to the horse during sessions.

This class is designed to be approachable for horse owners while still offering useful insight for equine professionals.

We’ll be keeping the group small to allow for discussion and hands-on learning.
