“Hey guys my name is Edward and I am part of Bancroft’s class of 2022. I graduated class of 2026 at Virginia Tech with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently continuing to work with the ME department through my research with VTs SEAD LAB and post graduation I am currently working with Precision Castparts Corp (PCC) through their rotational TRP program. My first rotation is at Environment One in upstate New York where we make sewer and hydrogen systems. Anyone who’s in engineering feel free to reach out.”

2015 graduate Ivana Lamptey is making a difference in more ways than one! Take a look at her journey below.👇🏻

“Since graduating, I’ve continued to build a career centered on creativity, entrepreneurship, leadership, and serving others. I’m the founder of IveyMade, a multidisciplinary creative brand where I design handmade crochet, knit, sewn, and painted pieces inspired by storytelling and craftsmanship.

I recently opened a studio at The Creative Hub in Worcester, where I create my work and am excited to begin offering creative classes and workshops for the community. Alongside growing IveyMade, I continue to build my career in executive operations, supporting leaders, managing complex projects, and helping organizations thrive. I also recently became a licensed real estate agent, expanding the ways I can serve others.

Whether I’m designing a garment, creating art, teaching a new maker, supporting an organization, or helping someone find their next home, my goal remains the same: to create with purpose, solve problems, and inspire others to pursue their own potential. I’m grateful for the opportunities to bring together creativity, leadership, and service, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.”
