A few weeks ago, our LIDER+ participants spent an amazing day exploring healthcare careers at UMass. They tried their hands at surgical knot-tying, practiced ultrasound imaging, and met the incredible air ambulance team to see emergency medicine in flight.

Seeing our students step up to these clinical challenges with so much curiosity was incredible. Thank you, UMass Chan Medical School for opening your doors and empowering the next generation of medical innovators! ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿฉบ

As our ENLACE participants prepare for their final presentations at our End of the Year Celebration, we held a specialized Public Speaking workshop to help them get ready for the big stage!

This exercise was tailored to create a comfortable environment where students felt safe speaking up in front of their peers. Our goal is to build lasting confidence so they can own any room they walk into.

We are so proud of our ENLACE students for pushing past their comfort zones. We canโ€™t wait to see them shine at the final celebration! ๐Ÿš€๐ŸŽ™๏ธ

This week, the girls from LASOS visited the Botanical Garden, where they explored beautiful blooms, learned about different plant species and their care routines, and created their own stunning terrariums. Thank you to the New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill for welcoming us and inspiring our girls to appreciate and care for nature. So proud of the creativity and care they poured into their terrariums! ๐Ÿ’š
