In a recent study conducted by the Association of American Universities, findings indicate that of 150,000 students surveyed at 27 different schools "77 percent of students overall said they did not act when witnessing 'a drunk person heading for a sexual encounter.'"
Clark University first-year and transfer students are currently participating in a bystander intervention program to help arm them with the knowledge and tools to safely intervene if they ever see a risky situation unfolding. Would you intervene as a prosocial bystander?

The Clark University Dean of Students Office presents a screening of the critically acclaimed documentary "The Hunting Ground". This startling expose explores “sexual assaults on U.S. campuses, institutional cover-ups and the brutal social toll on victims and their families”. Tuesday, April 21, 6-8:30pm, Sackler 122.
**At times, this documentary becomes graphic. Given the jarring subject matter and nature of this film, participants are encouraged to be mindful of self-care before, during and after. This film has the potentially to be highly triggering.**
Representatives from the Dean of Students office, CAVE, Counseling Services, University Police and Pathways for Change will be on hand for a panel afterwards, to answer any questions that students may have following the film, as well as to discuss how sexual assaults are responded to at Clark.
