Thank you so much for the thoughtful notes, cards, and kind words shared with the PTO following Enrichment Day. Your messages mean a great deal to us and remind us why we love bringing these special experiences to our school community.
Enrichment Day was a success because of the support, enthusiasm, and partnership of our families, volunteers, staff, and students. We are grateful for the opportunity to help create memorable learning experiences for our children.

Froze Zone has incredible house-made gelato, and their self-serve frozen yogurt is sold by the cup, not the ounce; so pile on all the toppings you want!

Wow! Gates Lane School, what a fantastic Enrichment Day we had yesterday! We had beautiful weather and a lot of fun! We are so proud of the PTO, staff, teachers, students and volunteers for all their hard work, kindness, fundraising, support and dedication to our school to put on such a wonderful Enrichment Day. To see everyone having a great time, laughing, smiling, playing, learning and having fun was the absolute best! Thank you to everyone who volunteered and worked so hard for that day to happen and for everyone who helped to set up and clean up. We all can’t wait for next year! 🥰👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻💯
Thank you to Moonwalks By Magic World for their entertainment, Brian Delac Larger Than Life Entertainment for donating his time and mixing up some awesome music, Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast/Doug Vallee, Jessica Vallee and parents/guardians for donating water, Raising Cane's for the donated lemonade and swag, BJ's Wholesale Club for the freeze pops, the Worcester Red Sox for donating their time and having Roberto The Rocket visit, the principals Ms. Bourget, Ms. Rakic and Mr. Padilla for allowing us to host such a big Enrichment Day and for helping the day to run smoothly along with Rena Bly (Wrap Around Services Coordinator) and Donatella Travaglio (School Adjustment Counselor), and an especially huge THANK YOU to Tracy Barry, Perla Gillitlie, Jessica Richards, Carli Rae, Keisha Guy D***s, Colleen Ann, Jessica Sarita, Jessica Vallee and parents/guardians for your tireless work to make the day happen and for all the events and fundraising throughout the year. Please join us for a PTO meeting followed by a Site Council meeting.
Tomorrow: June 2 - 9:00 am
We will keep both meetings short so caregivers can make it to the 4th Grade event at 10:00 AM.

Tomorrow is another day of the Worcester Inter-Tribal Indian Center powwow! There will be Inter-Tribal Dancing, Dancer prizes, Powwow Games, kids table & Traders!
A food truck will be on site! 🍔🌭🥤

Mental Health Fair
Tuesday, May 19, 2026
Time : 6:30- 8:00 pm
Location: Nelson Place Elementary School GYM
35 Nelson Pl, Worcester
The event will take place in the gymnasium at Nelson Place School.
Please note that the entrance is located at the back of the school, so you will need to go all the way around the building.
Parking will be available, and access will be through the gymnasium doors.
The goal of this event is to promote mental wellness, reduce stigma, and empower families of students with special needs to access supportive practices and community resources, working together with educators and community partners.
Mental health is part of the whole child and affects all students, not only those in Special Education.
Supporting mental health helps every student learn, grow, and succeed.
We are excited to have more than 24 providers participating in this event, offering valuable resources and information for families.
