Clark Street Community School - WPS

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, our school hosted two special events focused on wellness, movement, and resilience:

Students in Pre-K through 3rd grade participated in a National Walk Day event in partnership with the American Heart Association. This activity encouraged healthy habits and highlighted the connection between physical activity and mental well-being.

Students in Grades 4 through 6 & NC took part in Ned’s Resiliency Ride, an engaging program that promotes perseverance, positive mindset, and emotional strength through interactive storytelling and activities.

We’re excited to have provided these meaningful experiences that support both the physical and mental health of our students!

Congratulations to Mrs. Wharton as she was recognized at Worcester Technical High School for her work at Clark Street Community School and embodying the five core WPS values of: Belonging, Respect, Inclusivity, Collaboration, and Equity. In her role as the Instructional Coach she goes above and beyond to support students, staff, and families. Her dedication, countless hours, meaningful family engagement, and leadership are essential to the school’s success.
