Last week, members of the Class of 2026 took time out of their busy post-grad schedules to share advice with the Class of 2027 on how to best prepare for their first Clinical Education placements. Thank you to Haley, Sam, Delaney, Riley, Arthur, and Chris for sharing your experiences and insights!

Earlier this summer semester, the Class of 2027 and the Class of 2028 went head-to-head in our first annual PT Olympics! The games challenged us to put our PT brains (and grit) to the test as we battled for first place.

Jake, Colin, Jess, and Mik were able to take home gold by receiving the most points out of all the teams! Way to go! Their team was represented by their Team Captain, Dr. Tags!

However, the Tug-of-War showdown was the most nail-biting of all. Round 1 resulted in the Class of 2028 taking the win, but the Class of 2027 was determined to redeem themselves and came back to win Round 2. Ultimately, the Class of 2028 won the Tug-of-War Championship! To this day, the final champion is still up for debate…depending on who you ask, which may just call for a rematch! 

Regardless, this event was a great way to bring both cohorts together and take some much-needed time away from studying.

A special thank you to Caitlin, Kaelan, Charlene, and Cassie for serving as referees and helping organize this event. Another huge thank you to our faculty for being our biggest supporters and cheerleaders. Events like this would not be possible without you!

It’s a week late, but Happy St. Patrick’s Day from one of our Integrated Clinical Education sites, BAMSI! Last Friday, our participants from BAMSI celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with our DPT2 students and Dr. Ofiesh. BAMSI is a Brain Injury Community Center that allows people who have experienced a traumatic brain injury to come together, share their experiences, and support each other as they rebuild their lives. This is one of our favorite sites to visit and work with our fantastic group of participants💚
