Jess Ferinetti successfully defended her honors thesis of a translation of part of a novel by Rosa Montero. She had a huge audience for the defense and did great. Here Jess holds a board she broke apart to get rid of her nerves--it certainly worked! Professor Maryanne Leone was Jess's thesis director.

College Town Assumption students recently helped English for Speakers of Other Languages program participants adjust adjectives and in the process had a few adjustments made to their way of thinking about immigrants.
