Children’s Nest Academy

Founded in 2018, Children’s Nest Academy is a daycare and preschool proudly serving the Worcester community. We are licensed through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) for 42 children daily and provide a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn each day.

Our center features four classrooms:

🤍 Preschool
🤍 Pre-K

Children’s Nest Academy is led by Director Andrea Mercado, who brings 15 years of experience in early childhood education and a true passion for creating meaningful learning experiences for children.

Our teachers are highly trained, caring, and engaged each day. We take pride in building strong relationships with every child while creating classrooms that are fun, structured, and full of learning opportunities.

We are a Montessori-inspired program that believes children learn best through hands-on experiences, independence, exploration, and most of all PLAY. Our days are filled with engaging activities including early literacy, sensory play, outdoor learning, creative arts, science discovery, music, movement, and social-emotional growth.

We operate with strong organization, structure, and communication. Through our Brightwheel parent communication system, families receive daily updates, photos, messages, and important announcements so they always feel connected to their child’s day.

At Children’s Nest Academy, we pride ourselves on being more than a childcare center, we are a close-knit community where families feel connected, supported, and valued. Building strong relationships with children and parents is at the heart of everything we do.
