Congratulations to the Iota Omicron-WPI chapter on receiving the Excellence in Sisterhood and Lifelong Commitment award in 2018!

The Iota Omicron chapter has taken many steps this year to improve sisterhood and alumnae engagement. The chapter has worked hard to encourage and recognize campus involvement, and have 4 officers slated to the Panhellenic Executive Council. To connect with alumnae, the chapter sends quarterly e-alerts with updates on what the chapter has been up to, and has made extra effort to include alumnae in more chapter events, like hosting alumnae career panels where active sisters can ask about interviews, internship experience, and finding jobs.

This week 3 of our alumni members are attending the annual SWE conference. This conference is the largest gathering of women engineers of all ages and career stages from all major engineering disciplines. We are so proud of our alumni who perfectly fit the theme of Breaking Bounaries, which is rooted in the notion that all women engineers are breaking boundaries both personally and for women across the globe!
