Congratulations to Annabelle Anand and Ellie Price on their joint senior recital last weekend! 🎉

Family, friends, fellow JYO students, and JOMP faculty gathered to celebrate these accomplished young musicians. The afternoon also featured collaborative piano by Monica Corey, and a clarinet duet with fellow JOMP student Gianna DiPietro.

Join us for the joint senior recital of Annabelle Anand, clarinet, and Ellie Price, bassoon! Their program features music by Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Glière, Katherine Hoover, and Burrill Philips, with Monica Corey, piano, and guest clarinetist Gianna DiPietro. Annabelle is a student of JOMP faculty member Nancy Ackerman, and Ellie studies with JOMP faculty member Tracy McGinnis. 🙌🏼 🎶🌻

Last Friday evening we wrapped up our July String Quartet Intensive with wonderful performances in JOMP’s Shapiro Concert Hall! 🎻🎻🎻🎻✨

This special July session was added by popular demand in addition to our Youth Chamber Music Week coming up in August. Over five nights, seven string players worked with four faculty coaches, preparing two movements by Mozart and selections from Wood Works, a collection of Nordic Folk Tunes arranged by the Danish String Quartet.

Congratulations to all of our students, and thank you to our coaches and families for making it such a rewarding week. 🎉

Know a 4 or 5 year old who loves to make music?

Tot JOMP has openings on Thursdays at 11am. This 6 week class is a high energy introduction to music through percussion, xylophone, ukulele, and fun!

Starts Thursday, July 9 and runs six weeks.
