The Holy Cross Union Society, commonly referred to as the Holy Cross Union, is a student-run debate society on the campus of the College of the Holy Cross.
In 1903, Sir Winston Churchill formed a coterie of independent-minded Members of Parliament nicknamed 'Hooligans,' that were willing to 'entertain new ideas, fresh approaches...and to develop that invaluable political quality - a desire for mischief.'
