The New England School of Fine Art, located in historic Worcester, MA, offers year-round studio art classes and workshops taught by experienced professional artists. Studio art classes and workshops include day, evening, and weekend classes and workshops for all ages. The school specializes in teaching classical methods of drawing and painting. These skills provide a strong foundation and allow artists to better explore their artistic visions. The school caters to both professional students and enthusiastic hobbyists. The NESFA offers classical instruction in drawing, oil painting, watercolor and pastel, as well as other media. Classes cover a range of topics, such as figure drawing, portraiture and still life.

I’m honored to be the juror for the Rhode Island Watercolor Society’s upcoming show, In The Distance. The deadline for entry has been extended to Sunday, November 16th.

Theme:For this show we are looking for pieces the exemplify or exaggerate distance/perspective. Artists may take a direct approach of a landscape with a distant background, or may interpret the theme in a more abstract way. What does "In the Distance" make you think of or feel? We're excited to see....
