It's really important to think about the lives that are effected every day by our trash.

We in the States are privileged with infrastructure that generally keeps waste out of sight. But, in throwing things "away", it's really just being put into the hands of someone else to deal with.

Well worth a read if the summer heat's got you feeling lazy!

These aren’t just enormous piles of trash, but human workplaces too.

Five years ago Sustainable Clark surveyed the entire Clark community with the Green Mentality Survey. The information and ideas generated helped to shape a number of sustainability initiatives and programs at Clark, many of which are still on-going.
