Opportuneity Music Connections

As we wrap up another incredible Worcester Summer Music Institute, we're filled with gratitude.

Thank you to the students who showed up each day ready to learn, the families who supported them, the faculty and guest artists who generously shared their knowledge, and the volunteers and partners who helped make the week possible.

Watching these young musicians grow in confidence, challenge themselves, and create music together is what this week is all about. The lessons learned extend far beyond the rehearsal room, fostering collaboration, perseverance, creativity, and a lifelong love of music.

To everyone who helped make this year's institute such a success: thank you for believing in the power of music education. We are honored to be part of your journey and can't wait to see where your music takes you next.

This week, we made music together at our Seventh Annual Worcester Summer Music Institute.

High school musicians from across Central Massachusetts came together to learn, collaborate, challenge themselves, and grow under the guidance of an incredible faculty of educators and professional musicians. Every rehearsal, masterclass, and conversation was another reminder of what can happen when young people are given the opportunity to learn in a supportive musical community.
