Tori is thrilled to be joining the Jo Ann Warren community this summer for Matilda Jr! Tori is a rising Junior at Connecticut College, double majoring in Theatre and Dance. Some of her acting credits include Alyssa Greene in The Prom (Connecticut College), Ariel Moore in Footloose (Theatre at the Mount), Jessie Cates in 'Night, Mother (Connecticut College), and Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Hanover Theatre Conservatory). Recently, Tori has sparked a passion for working behind the scenes. She has most recently choreographed Hadestown with South County Theatre in Warwick, RH and Heathers with Rhode Island Stage Ensemble in Woonsocket, RH. She is also very passionate about stage management and the beauty of costume design. Tori is so excited to meet the campers and have a great summer!

A UNC Greensboro graduate, Rebecca earned her Bachelors in Music Performance with a focus on voice, as well as receiving a minor in human development and family studies. Throughout her studies, she performed roles such as Gertrude in Seussical, Rapunzel in Into the Woods, Fanchette in The Lantern Marriage, and eventually made her international opera debut as Frasquita in Carmen with the Opera Festival of Morelia in Mexico. Rebecca is a passionate performer and teacher who thrives in both the musical theatre and operatic worlds. Currently a private teacher with Jack’s Guitar Garage, she is a voice/piano teacher who aims to give her students healthy technique and foundations, but above all, experience in the joy of creating music.

Carley is a teaching artist and theatre educator. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance from Jacksonville University, where she also had the opportunity to study under songwriter and educator Drew Gasparini. Her professional experience spans performance, education, and directing. As a performer, she has appeared in productions including The Light in the Piazza, The Little Mermaid, Footloose, and Jekyll & Hyde. As a director, she has led productions such as High School Musical Jr., Aladdin Jr., The Little Mermaid Jr., and Fairytales & Folklore. Carley has also worked with organizations including Alhambra Theatre & Dining, The Upright Citizens Brigade, and the North Florida School of Special Education, where she served as a Theatre Arts Teacher and successfully started an after-school drama program. She is most looking forward to seeing the cast bring the magic to life on stage!

On Wednesday alone they led K-Pop Camp, brought the energy to a community festival with a Creative Movers demonstration, and then headed straight into rehearsals as they prepare for next week’s Disney performance.

Every moment was met with smiles, endless energy, genuine care, and so much charisma. They showed up for every child, every family, and each other.

Watching this team in action is one of the greatest gifts. The talent is incredible, but it’s the heart behind everything they do that makes this group so special.

It is impossible to watch them and feel anything but proud. Proud of what they accomplish. Proud of the community they’re creating. Proud to be associated with a team that gives so much of themselves every single day.
