Wonderful Winter Homecoming on the Hill! And Bob Cousy was there to receive the honor of having the basketball court named for him! (See video separately). Always amazing to be back. Chu chu rah rah!

Senior forward and team captain Garrison E. Carter, son of former Holy Cross varsity men's basketball starting forward Eldridge M. Carter '89 and Karen D. (Collier) Carter '89, is honored on December 17, 2025, for scoring, on December 13, 2025, his 1000th career point as a member of the Illinois Institute of Technology (aka Illinois Tech) Scarlet Hawk varsity men's basketball team! Garrison has continued to pour it on, notching a personal single game scoring best of 35 points in a January 14, 2026, win, good for his 2nd conference player of the week honor of the season! More about that here:

Garrison, who currently holds a 3.75 cumulative grade point average while at Illinois Tech, has helped lead multiple official campus community organizations (Student Athlete Advisory Committee; Black Student Athlete Association; Resident Advisor) and volunteered on several others while on the Dean's list every semester. Garrison is on target to graduate in May of 2026 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing (plus multiple certifications)!
