We meet weekly on Wednesday at 7:30 in Atwood 302! Swing on by! We work closely with the Worcester poetry scene to collaborate events, workshops, etc.
Poetry Slam was started in 1986 by a Chicago construction worker named Mark Smith - SO WHAT - because he wanted to see people get more passionate about poetry and the performance of it. Slam poetry is a way for the whole world to get excited about what's happening on the stage in front of them by giving 5 judges in the room the power to criticize and praise a poet's work on a numerical scale from

Tonight is our last workshop of the semester. Boooooo. Come to Atwood 302 at 8pm to first shed tears and then knit those tears into a salty blanket in which we can all wrap ourselves. Or just come to write poetry. Either way!
