During the COVID-19 stay-at-home restrictions, adults caring for young children are now faced with a range of new challenges. As a caregiver of a young child, we are interested in learning more about your experiences of stress and support during the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to do that, we are looking for caregivers that are interested in completing a series of online questionnaires regarding their experiences.
If you are interested, please contact us by phone or email!
*Participation is voluntary, which means that you do not need to participate in this study if you do not want to. If you participate, you may decline to answer any questions that you do not wish to answer, and you can drop out of the study at any time. Your answers will remain confidential, which means that what you say during the interview will not be shared with anyone. Your decision to participate or not participate in this study will not affect your connection with the Clark University Child Study Center or Clark University.*

We are interested in knowing what and how neighborhood, school, and family factors contribute to caregivers’ definitions of maltreatment and what they feel might be the cause of it. Your participation will help us to better understand how caregivers perceive risk around maltreatment, what factors influence those perceptions, and how they impact caregivers and their children.
You will not be asked any questions in regard to your or your child’s own experiences of maltreatment, but rather just your perceptions of what maltreatment is and what factors you feel might contribute to experiences of maltreatment.
If you are interested, please contact us by phone or email!
