This year’s annual Fellows’ debate put Team Rear Ends on trial for placement of a fictitious PEG tube that went 💀wrong💀, ultimately our secret jury sided with the accused and the Rear Ends are free to scope another day!

Excited to announce the new GI fellows for 2023! Please welcome Dr.Singh, Dr.Srivoleti,and Dr.Rau !

Congrats to Dr Arslan Talat our chief GI fellow for being inducted into AOA! Dr Talat embodies the best of UMass GI. This last year he has not only lead the GI fellowship, but also published multiple peer reviewed articles and become a talented endoscopist. His organization, knowledge, and compassion are unmatched. Congrats Dr Talat!

Another successful animal lab! Thank you to Boston scientific and Fuji for bringing their ESD lab to Umass. Their tools are helping pave the way for third space endoscopy!

A new year and new fellows! Thank you to Boston scientific and ERBE for helping set up the first year fellows course this week! It was an amazing experience in the animal lab!

Thank you to Boston Scientific for bringing their water based AXIOS model to UMass. Some of our fellows were lucky enough to try the model at DDW this year, but we were excited to all get hands on experience at home in our endoscopy unit
