Dear Brethren,

It is with great sadness that we share the news that our Brother, Wor. Tom DeFeudis, Thrice Past Master of Level Lodge and recipient of the Joseph Warren Medal, recently passed away.

Tom was an incredibly generous Brother, a mentor to many, and a true friend to Brethren throughout Massachusetts. His generous heart, ever-present smile, and deep care for his community were truly unmatched. He gave so much of himself to others, and his loss will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Tom will be sorely missed.

Please keep his family, friends, and Brothers in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

The wake will be held on Monday, September 21, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 PM, and I hope that as many Brethren from the District as possible will be able to attend and support Tom’s family and Brothers.

The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Angels Parish, 1222 Main Street, Worcester.

Congratulations to Brothers Jason DeFronzo and Tom Galvin on being unanimously elected to the rank, honor and distinction of a Chevalier of the Order of DeMolay by members of DeMolay International. This is the highest honor that an active DeMolay can receive.

Brethren,

Brother Arthur Dill and his wife Kirstin's 1 year old son, AJ, has been at Boston Children's Hospital for the last 3 weeks. He has now been diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy and is now waiting to be on the heart transplant list. Arthur and Kirstin also have a 3 year-old son with special needs. Arthur is now on FMLA from his work, but we know this is inadequate to meet their daily needs as well as the medical expenses not covered by health insurance. This is devastating news. Please share with your respective members that, if they are so inclined, donations may be made in two ways:
