WIC Summer Camp

Our campers had a blast in martial arts class this summer! They worked hard building confidence, discipline, and focus while learning essential self-defense skills, kicks, and strikes.

Beyond the physical workout, they practiced respect, self-control, and perseverance—traits that serve them on and off the mat. Huge thanks to our coaches for inspiring our young martial artists! 💪🌟

✨ Inspiring Our Young Entrepreneurs! ✨

This week, the girls learned about the incredible companion Abdur-Rahman ibn ‘Awf (RA)—a master merchant who built his success from the ground up after the Hijrah and was renowned for his immense generosity, charity, and care for the Prophet’s (PBUH) family.

Inspired by his legacy, the girls created their own business proposals, brainstorming unique ideas designed to benefit the Ummah. They finished off the week presenting their projects, and we couldn't be prouder of their creativity, confidence, and leadership! 🌟💼

Our AI Explorers have had an incredible, hands-on week! Here’s what they’ve been up to:

🏗️ STEM Challenges: Built boats and engineered towers out of different materials.

🧠 AI & Coding: Learned the basics of AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, and Python!

🎮 Hands-On Project: Trained their own Mood Detector machine learning models to recognize happiness, sadness, and surprise, and brought them to life using interactive Scratch games!

Our youth had an amazing time learning archery this week! Practicing this wonderful Sunnah taught our camp kids focus, patience, and confidence.

Our Ummah Superstars had an absolute blast in cooking class this week! From chopping and rolling to mixing up refreshing sips, our young chefs showed off some serious culinary skills. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our young bakers wrapped up Baking Class by making and decorating their very own chocolate mini cakes. From mixing ingredients to adding the final frosting touches, campers enjoyed bringing their creations to life.

This week in our Game Design & Logic class, our campers dove into the world of coding and computational thinking. They explored loops, functions, and algorithms while designing their own interactive games using beginner-friendly coding platforms.

Alhamdulillah, it was amazing to see their creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence grow as they turned ideas into playable games!

This week in our Ummah Superstars class, our campers learned about the inspiring lives of Asma bint Abi Bakr (RA), Khalid ibn al-Walid (RA), and Sumayyah bint Khayyat (RA). 🌟

Through scavenger hunts, trivia games, creative crafts, and horse-themed art projects, they explored the courage, sacrifice, and steadfast faith of these remarkable companions in a fun and engaging way.
