Thank you so much to everyone who helped us work in our new Community Garden Spot this past Sunday! This is so exciting! We will be planting spinach, peas, lettuce, and radishes this week! IF you are interested in having your child do Garden Club-we start tomorrow. We will be meeting Tuesday's after school 3:30-4:30. Beth and Chrissy Pollard are the Garden Club Group leaders! Hey All! I am passing along this message from Friends of Doty! We are having a Garden Club work day in our plot the kids are going to be working on. The work day is this Sunday (May 3) 9:30-11:30! Please come by and help if you can! Or just hang and support~Beth

Dear Friends of Doty,

Please join us for a Doty Garden Work Day this Sunday, May 3rd from 9:30am - 11:30am at the Ladd Field Community Garden. We will be pulling weeds and prepping the soil for planting, so feel free to bring a shovel, pitchfork, and/or your favorite weeding tools, as well as some garden gloves. All are welcome. Also, if anyone has extra manure and/or compost for the Doty garden and fruit trees, please let us know.

Also, May 4th - 8th is Teacher Appreciation Week. We have created a Sign-up Genius form and flyer for ways to celebrate Doty teachers and staff. Please help out if you can!

Our 3/4's stepped up to serve today!! They had a blast. Worcester's Community Lunch has the best homemade food each week. We LOVE going, and cooking our soups! Thank you Richard, Vicki, Ross, Tina, and everyone who lends a hand to make this happen. It is so beautiful to be a part of this community- the place was packed today, and you could feel the joy and togetherness we were all sharing!
