✨ Officer Retreat 2026 ✨

What an incredible way to kick off the FFA summer! Our officer team had the opportunity to spend three days at Inspiration Hills Camp for an officer retreat alongside the Norwayne, Smithville, and Northwestern FFA officer teams.

Throughout the retreat, our officers learned, grew, and strengthened their leadership skills while working together to plan for the upcoming year. It was amazing to watch these students share ideas, challenge one another, build relationships, and grow as leaders.

A special thank-you to Shari Nussbaum and Philip Eberly for investing their time and talents into our officer retreat. Their lessons, encouragement, and preparation made a lasting impact on our students!

We are excited to see our officers take what they learned back to Triway FFA as we work together to make it a great year! 💙💛

5th Grade Ag Day was a huge success!

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to share agriculture with the next generation.

A huge thank you to Holmes Soil & Water Conservation District, Wayne Soil and Water Conservation District, Wayne County Farm Bureau and Esselburn Dairy Farm for helping make this event so special!

Our 5th graders rotated through hands-on stations led by our FFA members, including:

🌱 Games & Activities

🥛 Milk & Processing — touring the parlor, learning the journey from cow to finished product, and making whipped cream in a jar

🚜 Farm Bureau Economics — comparing input and output costs to see what it really takes to run a farm

⚠️ Ag Safety — learning about tractor, implement, PTO, ATV/UTV, and livestock safety

🌾 Seed Creatures — discovering what seeds need to grow, exploring soil particles, and creating clay “seed creatures” to take home and plant

🐄 Calf Care — learning about calf nutrition, bottle mixing, housing, and how ear tags help identify and monitor calves

💧 Groundwater Simulator —demonstrating how groundwater moves through the Earth and eventually back to us

Thank you to everyone who helped educate, lead activities, and invest in agricultural literacy for our students. Days like these help grow future leaders and advocates for agriculture!
