Our first FFA meeting of the year was a success!

About 30 members joined us for a fun night of chili cook-off, candy salad, and chapter bonding! 🌶️🍬

Farm Science Review 2026!

24 Triway FFA members spent the day at Farm Science Review learning, exploring, and experiencing the latest in agriculture!

From new technology and equipment to livestock, agronomy, conservation, and so much more, our members had the opportunity to see firsthand how agriculture continues to evolve and grow.

We are so thankful for opportunities like this that allow our students to get outside the classroom, connect what they are learning to real-world agriculture, and explore the many careers and possibilities within our industry!

A great day of learning, exploring, and growing as agriculturalists!

County soil judging today! Thank you to The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute for hosting us, Wayne County Soil and Water for officiating the contest and Norwayne FFA for organizing the contest!

🎡 The 2026 Wayne County Fair is officially in the books! 🎡

4-H and FFA members put in countless hours throughout the summer preparing their projects for this week, followed by many early mornings and late nights once fair week arrived. It truly takes a village to make the fair so special, and we are incredibly thankful for all of the parents, supporters, volunteers, and community members who make this week possible for our youth! ❤️

Our chapter had a busy and exciting week! We kicked things off Saturday evening with the Coronation! Congratulations again to the entire court! 👑

Sunday morning came bright and early with the Dairy Judging Contest. Our chapter is responsible for finding the judge, getting the cattle to and from the barns for each class, and exhibiting the cattle during the contest for participants to evaluate. A big thank-you to everyone who helped make this happen!

Sunday evening, we served alongside the Shreve Business Association at the Chicken BBQ Stand. This is an event that takes many helping hands, so thank you to all of the parents and members who volunteered their time to make it a success! 🍗

Tuesday evening, we worked with the Wayne County Recycling team, helping empty receptacles throughout the fairgrounds and making sure recyclables were sorted correctly. ♻️

At some point during the week, we also filled a shift in the Dairy Promoters Milkshake Trailer! Thank you to the members who were willing to jump in at the last minute and help them out in a pinch. 🥛

Thursday we also had two members participate in the showman of showman contest, where they have to show each species to compete for overall showman! Alumni member, Brooklyn Tarelton earned her spot as top swine showman and Freshman member Payton Hoff as top rabbit showman! Congratulations on this achievement!

From start to finish, it was an incredibly busy but wonderful week filled with service, teamwork, learning, and plenty of memories. We are so proud of our members for stepping up and giving back to the Wayne County Fair and our community!

Outstanding Chapter Exhibit!

Our officer team had a busy day at the fairgrounds! 🇺🇸💙

We set up our fair booth, “God Bless the FFA,” so be sure to stop by and check out all of our students’ projects! 🌽🐄

We also wrapped 200 trash barrels with American flag covers 🇺🇸, set up the fair scavenger hunt 🔎, and decorated the pens for our members showing through FFA! 🐷🐮🐑

We’re excited for a great fair week! Come see us and support all the jr. fair participants!
