And the Titans went into Bobcat country and took what was theirs.
Triway walked into Norwayne Friday night and left with a 38–17 victory, and the final score only tells part of the story.
For it is written: thou shalt not run upon the Titans.
Norwayne finished the night with NEGATIVE 22 rushing yards.
Yes. -22.
The Bobcats tried 19 times and averaged -1.2 yards per carry. The Triway defense didn't merely shut down the running game — they repossessed it.
Meanwhile, the Titans rolled up 432 yards of offense, including 198 yards on the ground at a ridiculous 9.0 yards per carry. Through the air, Triway added another 234 yards, completing 16 of 26 passes.
Triway also controlled the chains, picking up 16 first downs to Norwayne's 9 and converting 5 of 9 third downs, while the Bobcats managed just 3 of 14.
Norwayne did find success through the air with 262 passing yards, but the Titans made them pay with two interceptions.
