Hello! My name is Mrs. Sayre and I’m so excited to share Invention Project Camp with your child(ren) during the week of July 31st - August 4th, 2023. It is a lot of fun! We will be having camp at Wooster High School.
Monday- I recommend using the Burbank/Oldman Road. The intersection on the other side of Oldman Road is closed due to construction. Enter Wooster High School at the entrance by the pool. Our registration will open at 8:30 a.m. Registration will take place in the Commons/Cafeteria area and will take you a few minutes. Look for the Invention Project Camp sign or ask anyone that is with Invention Project Camp or Camp Invention. Once they are signed in, there is the option for a free breakfast and then they will be in our hang out area until we start camp around 9am. A free lunch is also offered to our campers or you may bring your own lunch.
Tuesday-Friday- Sign in and breakfast will start at 8:45.
Daily Breakfast Menu: Choose One: Poptart, Cereal, Yogurt w/ Graham Crackers, Bagel, Muffin, Cinnamon Bun, Donut or Cereal Bar;
also includes Juice, Fruit & Milk.
(If eating breakfast. A child must take 3 out of the 4 items: a Grain, Milk and either Juice or Fruit. It’s a requirement of the USDA grant that they take it, not necessarily eat it)
Daily Lunch Menu:
Monday - Cheeseburger, Fries, Applesauce, Cookie, Milk
Tuesday - Popcorn Chicken w/Roll, Carrots & Dip, Mixed Fruit, Vanilla Pudding, Milk
Wednesday - PB & J with Ch Stick, Orange Juice, Potato Chips, Raisins Rice Krispie Treat, Milk
Thursday - Hot Dog, Baked Beans, Orange Wedges, Brownie, Milk
Friday - Meatball Sub, Tossed Salad, Apple, Cookie, Milk
Camp starts at 9am and ends at 3pm.
Due to our camp having middle school students, they may be dropped off to sign themselves in at the start of the day and sign themselves out of camp at the end of the day to pick up a younger sibling and/or meet you, unless I am notified otherwise from a parent or guardian.
Finally, we share a recycle/ upcycle room with Camp Invention. Attached is a list of appropriate items that you can bring in to help with camp this week. Do not purchase items to bring to camp! It isn’t required, but if you have anything from this list you wish to bring, we appreciate it. Please note that we do not return items from the upcycle room.
