Congratulations to Emma MacCartney ’27, who was named the 2027 Distinguished Young Woman of Rhode Island!

After competing alongside four other talented young women from across the state, Emma earned the title of Rhode Island Distinguished Young Woman, along with a DYW scholarship, numerous college scholarships, and the Scholastic Scholarship.

Next summer, Emma will represent Rhode Island at the Distinguished Young Women national competition in Mobile, Alabama, where she will compete alongside young women from across the country.

We are so proud of you, Emma, and excited to see all that’s ahead. Congratulations!
