As we prepare for the upcoming school year, I want to share a simple message that we hope will guide our Good Shepherd School community throughout the year:

Every day, we have the opportunity to make a difference through a kind word, a helping hand, a welcoming smile, or simply making sure no one feels left out. On this glorious Solemnity of the Assumption, we lift our hearts to Heaven as the Blessed Virgin Mary is assumed body and soul into the glory of God.
Mary, our Mother, assumed into Heaven — pray for us.
May her intercession fill our lives with peace, hope, and the light of Christ.
Happy Feast of the Assumption!

Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, the Good Shepherd who never leaves His flock.
In the soft light of this new day, hold us close the way He holds the little lamb.
When we feel lost, tired, or afraid, remind us that Your arms are strong and Your love is gentle.
Lead us through every valley, restore our souls, and let Your peace settle over our hearts like morning mist.
We rest in You today, knowing we are safe, seen, and deeply loved.
In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.

As we continue preparing for the start of another wonderful school year, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Cisco’s Moving Services for their quick and efficient work moving classroom furniture back into all of our classrooms.

Their team was professional, hardworking, and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. We are especially grateful for their friendly attitude, positive energy, and outstanding work ethic. Thank you, Cisco Moving Service, for helping us get our classrooms ready to welcome our students back to Good Shepherd School!
