There are so many different issues brought to our attention that it is impossible to place them all together. For tonight, we'll address the one that brought the most messages to our inbox in 24 hours! That would be Woonsocket Councilman Alexander Kithes actions during Woonsocket City Council Meeting on 6/15/2020 but it extends beyond this one meeting and this citizen's opinion in their message to us echoed many others:

"I am messaging because I know if I post publicly the backlash from Alex's side is intense and overwhelming so I hope you read this. I know I am one of many who are embarrassed they voted for Alex Kithes. The person now is not the same person I spoke with multiple times before deciding to vote for him. I regret my choice and will not make that mistake again. It's distasteful to see him make a joke out of our City, instigate situations then pretend everyone just doesn't want to work with him and over the past months he's become more obvious that he only cares about select citizens. After understanding more of the situation I don't see how Alex can act innocent. He uses people then when they don't serve a purpose he moves on to the next gullible fool. Last night's meeting was embarrassing and Alex made himself look very immature and not prepared or capable to be an elected official. The only good part is he showed the type of person he is so many will be aware what and who to avoid when it's time to vote. I can't change my past vote but I can learn now that in the future for me I will not make that mistake along with those that share his extreme mindset that is dividing our city in my opinion. Thank you for your time."

We were sent a short clip and it's incredibly distasteful to laugh and smirk while Woonsocket City Council President is attempting to explain just how this type of behavior reflects poorly on Mr. Kithes. We will include a link in our comments to the full meeting as there were other instances brought up to us but it's best to view for yourselves.

We will get to the many other pictures, information and social media concerns but they each require seperate posts as they are so diverse but it's our opinion Mr. Kithes needs to stop blaming others for any time he does not get what he wants and start being more transparent with his supporters about his role in these situations and hold himself accountable as well.

Good Evening Woonsocket,

We haven't been able to post everything that we've received due to lowering the number of people that run this page. Currently, we have had to move others around to cover areas where there is a higher influx of information and situations to assist.

We realized over the past couple weeks though we are receiving a substantial amount of messages, videos and information regarding your extreme displeasure of the behavior and actions of one of your Woonsocket City Counselors.

We want to acknowledge that after reading all of these messages and watching the Woonsocket City Council Meeting replay, we will do our best to compose all that was brought to our attention mainly because most mentioned they are scared of reprecussions if they speak up and we would be doing your city's citizens a disservice by not addressing what we have to the best of our abilities.

We have been inundated with messages regarding a situation that occurred at the Woonsocket Middle School at the Hamlet building. We are currently talking to a few sources with more information and will release it once verified.

While we are waiting, we wanted to ask if people were aware of something occurring at your Woonsocket Middle School? Were you sent this similar vague email that appears to be an attempt to sweep a bigger issue under the rug? Was just that issue happily reported to be "non credible"? Should the possible other safety concerns be made aware to parents/guardians that arose during this investigation or be swept under a rug?

Finally, are you confident you know what is occurring at your schools and still feel safe sending your children there daily?

We have received some very interesting emails recently and have been busy following up on those.

We just wanted to give you that short update but it will definitely be a stunning and shocking post once we are able to properly put together this information for the citizens of Woonsocket.

Thank you to those willing to come forward with this information, we know it isn't easy making yourself a possible target but we will do our best to try and prevent that from occurring.

Unfortunately, due to sources still unsure if they want to share personal messages that would clearly identify them and risk being targeted, We are waiting on our originally intended post.

After much consideration, we realized this brings up a completely new issue. If you express an strong opposing OPINION that doesn't align with Mr. Kithes, you then put yourself at risk of being labeled or run the risk of Mr. Kithes personally attacking you (or using others to do it) simply because you do not agree and that sets a horrible precedent in our opinion.

Do not try to silence opposing views, that is a very simple minded tactic. Accepting that you are not always correct and to be able to take criticism is hard but a trait necessary for any elected official. Educate others unaware instead of attacking them and you may receive a different reaction, Mr. Kithes.

Let us start this by stating we never intentionally or maliciously single out a person. It's unfortunate that all our emails and correspondence recently regard only one member of your Woonsocket City Council.

If there is other factual information that people would like known regarding elected officials, schools, all things Woonsocket, RI related, please let us know.

After reviewing recent events of Woonsocket's City Council, a certain Councilor and local group topics, it makes sense why he chose this person for this resolution. It fits the narrative he is pushing forth.

We were informed by numerous people Woonsocket now has a portal for their City Council Meetings (we will link it in the comments).

This will be great tool for Woonsocket to avoid the hypocrisy and negativity when constituents only could use a biased and hate filled Facebook group to watch these meetings (if they didn't have cable, were out of the City, ect..)
