What a great day at the Woonsocket Education Center.

Artificial intelligence was the topic of conversation as nonprofit leaders from across Rhode Island joined us for an interactive workshop led by Dr. Timothy Henry of Rhode Island College.

From exploring a bit of AI's role in communications to discussing its challenges and ethical considerations, participants had the opportunity to learn how this evolving technology can be used in their organizations. The workshop also addressed data privacy and security, highlighting the importance of protecting sensitive information when using AI tools.

A special thank you to Dr. Timothy Henry for sharing his expertise, and to Citizens and NBC 10 for making this opportunity possible through the Champions in Action Award. We also thank all the nonprofit leaders who joined us and contributed to the day's discussions.

We're proud to continue bringing valuable learning opportunities to Woonsocket and the nonprofit community.

Thank you, Beth, for all your contributions to the center and for the support you’ve given over the years. You will be greatly missed. Wishing you all the best in your retirement.

We celebrated a truly special colleague, Beth Bailey, as she begins a well-deserved retirement after more than a decade of dedicated service to the Rhode Island Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner.

Beth’s commitment, professionalism, kindness, and unwavering support have made a lasting impact on RIOPC and on so many who have had the privilege of working alongside her. Her contributions over the years are deeply valued, but even more so is the wonderful person behind them.

Beth, thank you for all you have given to RIOPC, for the difference you have made, and for being such a valued part of our team. You will be greatly missed.

As you begin this new chapter, we wish you and your family all the very best. Congratulations on your retirement, Beth, and thank you for everything.
