We celebrated the opening of our new CNA teaching lab, which represents an important expansion of Woonsocket Education Center's healthcare training portfolio and directly responds to the healthcare workforce shortages and employer demand. We're connecting people to education and credentials that lead to good careers while helping employers build the skilled workforce they need. This lab provides hands-on skills training in a setting that more closely reflects their future workplaces, At the ribbon were the center's director, Jill Olson-Crowley, Congressman Gabe Amo, Lt. Governor Sabina Matos, Mayor Christopher Beauchamp, and City Council Member Valerie Gonzalez. Thank you to them and all of our guests for joining us in our celebration today. Special shout out to Champlin Foundation and RIDLT for their financial and programmatic support.
