Good Evening Everyone,

Last week, Dr. McGee met with us to hear concerns and gather feedback. One of the biggest issues we discussed is the dangerous crosswalk situation in front of the school. I have tried for years to get blinking lights and proper signage installed, but with no success.

At the next City Council meeting, they will be voting on whether to add speed cameras—and I’m being told the vote may not pass.

This is where your voices are critical.
We need as many people as possible to come speak about the speeding in front of the school. Drivers are not only speeding but also running the red light, and someone even ran over our pedestrian sign. This is a serious safety hazard, and it’s only a matter of time before someone is seriously injured.

I am asking all of you to please show up next Monday at 7:00 PM at City Hall to express your concerns and support safety measures for our students and community. I will be sharing this with as many parents as possible, and I truly appreciate your help and presence.

We need something to help us with traffic in the morning and afternoon; lights, signage, speed cameras, something to slow people down!

Leo Savoie is hosting a Food Drive for the month of November as part of our Feinstein Good Deeds Program. Items like pasta, sauce, peanutbutter, and canned meals are needed. You can drop food off during school hours. Your assistance is greatly needed and appreciated!
