Please remember to register for 2026-2027:

Registering A New Student
(This includes New Prek students)

Go to www.patrick.k12.va.us
At the top hold your mouse over the “Families” tab
There will be a line of items to appear
Click “Student Registration” on the left
It will go to another page
Click on the link under the heading “New Student 2026 - 2027”

It will open up a page where you either sign in or create an account. You will need to “Create” an account. Once an account is set up then you will be able to register your student.

Registering A Returning Student

Go to https://patrick.powerschool.com
This will open up your students Parent Portal Account
You will sign in here
Once in, you will go down on the left to “Returning Student Registration”

This will work on mobile devices BUT not through the app. You must go through the website and not the app to register.

If you have any questions please go to www.patrick.k12.va.us, under the “Families” tab and click on “Student Registration.” This will take you to a screen that will give you the same link for “Returning Student Registration” scroll down to “Registration FAQ” this may answer some of your questions.

✅ ALL students in PreK–7th Grade must complete online registration for the 2026–2027 school year.

📅 We would LOVE for all registrations to be completed by July 14, 2026.

Here's a quick reminder to register online for 2026-2027:

It's time to register for 26-27....here are some great steps. If you have any issues, contact the WES front office at 276-930-2811!

WE WOULD LIKE FOR ALL STUDENTS TO BE REGISTERED BY JULY 14, 2026-SENDING THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

Below are the directions for completing online registration. This needs to be done for EACH student from PreK to 7th grade. Should you have any questions or problems during this process please feel free to contact the office at (276) 930-2811. Our summer hours are 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Thursday. We have computers available should you need to schedule a time to come in. If you have registered your student online there is no need for you to attend the registration on July 14th. If you deferred payment of your technology fee, this will need to be paid before the first day of school. Anytime during the summer or on Back to School night, Thursday, August 6th will be fine. Thank you so much for your help and if we can assist in any way please let us know.

We had a wonderful last workday together as we celebrated our four amazing retirees, service recognition, and we also celebrated a May birthday! ❤️

Our staff enjoyed a fun Sunshine Committee activity with snackable boxes, a creative writing activity, and meaningful conversations as we looked ahead to the 2026–2027 school year. We are excited to continue uplifting one another and supporting our students as we prepare for another great year at Woolwine Elementary School.

Now it is time for a well-deserved summer filled with fun, family, friends, rest, and relaxation as we recharge and get ready to welcome our new students and families.

Thank you to everyone for your support, dedication, and love for our school community throughout this year. We are truly blessed with the very best staff, teachers, teacher assistants, support staff, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, office staff, custodians, nurses, guidance, SRO, and volunteers.

It’s a good day to have a great day, and always a great day to be a Warrior! ❤️

Retirement Recognition

Woolwine Elementary School would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our 2026 retirees: Mrs. Annette Bowers, Mrs. Ramona Fain, Mrs. Janet Snyder, and Mrs. Glenda Pickerel.

These ladies have dedicated countless years to serving students, families, staff, and the Woolwine community with kindness, dedication, and hard work. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom walls and will continue to be felt for years to come.

We thank them for the love, guidance, laughter, and support they have given to generations of Warriors. While they will certainly be missed, we wish each of them a wonderful retirement filled with joy, family, friends, relaxation, and new adventures.

Once a Warrior, always a Warrior!
