I will have carniolan hybrid queens cells available on the 30-31st of May. They are $12 for four or less and $10 per cell for five or more. They all come with queen cell protectors. For pick up in Albion or Woolwich.

I will also be hatching any extras out as virgin queens and selling them for $18 per queen. They will come in a jzbz queen cages with a candy plug. They can be successfully introduced as long as the split is made queenless one week before queen installation. When installing the queen knock down all queen cells in your split.

All of these 5-frame nucs are raised and managed entirely by me. Each colony will be personally inspected before sale and will include a queen raised in the spring of 2026.

Each nuc will contain 3-4 frames of brood and 1-2 frames of honey.

My colonies were inspected by the state apiarist in September and received a clean bill of health.

Thank you to everyone who ordered nucs this spring! Reindeers Bees is officially sold out of nucs for 2025. I will be ramping up production next year to accommodate for increasing demand.

2025 splitting season is here! Last week I made 42 splits, some in 10 frame boxes and others in 4 frame nuc boxes.

I added queens cells to all of them, which will have hatched by now!

I am raising all of these (5 frame) nucs myself, each one will be checked by me before they are sold. These nucs will all have queens that I raised in the spring of 2025. The queen in the nucs will have been laying for about two months, thus they will be proven.

Queen Cells available for pickup in Woolwich on May 30th, May 31st, or June 1st. $15 per cell with cell protector. I only have a few available.

They were grafted from my best queen from last year and are a carniolan hybrid. They are very gentle and productive. Transportation is very easy, a small cooler, wood shavings, and hot water bottle is all that is necessary.

I bought several of Stevens Bee Company queens last year, today I found this. I believe they are exhibiting uncapping behavior. I will Ubo test them in a few weeks, I am fascinated to see how they score.
